The Restaurant of the Chateau Hotel Domaine de la Tortinière

The restaurant of Domaine de la Tortinière is a very bright room looking onto the river Indre and the swimming pool.
The refined inventive gastronomic and well known cuisine of David CHARTIER can be served either in the old Orangerie of the Château or on the Terrace as often as the weather permits it, in the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside.
Your children will be served in priority ; they are our very special guests and more than welcome !

Our gastronomy is inspired by Loire Valley traditions such as the Walleye-Pike, local snails..., local poultry.

Executive Chef David CHARTIER and his team propose :

First courses
Lobster cannelloni served with young vegetables, shoots and seasoned with vinegar, shellfish and cashew nuts (suppl. of 4 €) 24 €
Mille-feuille made with violet vitelotte potatoes and creamy fresh local cheese with sesame 20 €
Prawns ravioli served in poultry consommé with lemon balm 21 €
Half cooked foie gras and quince candies in cardamom (suppl. of 3 €) 23 €
Eggs in zabaglione served with cepes cream and fingers of bread with a few drops of truffle oil 21 €

Fishes
Scallops roasted with nuts served with truffle emulsion and cream of coral lentils (suppl. of 5 €) 26 €
Seabass steamed with oysters, served with broccoli semolina and espuma with rye bread 24 €
Turbot poached with vanilla, served with soft potatoes seasoned with ginger salt and butter vanilla flavoured (suppl. of 4 €) 25 €
Marinated cod's back with coriander, then roasted and served with pumpkin cream and lardons 23 €

Young partridge roasted in pastry case with foie gras and served with spelt soup and mushrooms 24 €

We inform our guests that they can make two different menus
One at the rate of 60 € including :
first course, main course, cheese AND dessert.
One at the rate of 50 € including :
first, course, main course, chees OR dessert.
You can also decide to eat à la carte.

Half-board (demi-pension) includes a menu-carte at the rate of 50 € out of drinds.
